Trending Tuesday (Home Decor and Buffalo Chicken)

Trending Tuesday (Home decor and Buffalo Chicken)

Happy Tuesday everyone! Guess what's trending at pi this week.

INSTORE
This weeks top In-store purchase was home decor but not just any decor but our newest line of Meadowbrooke gourds. These beautifully made, cute little candy dishes are a real gourd and are made here in the USA.

Our top "pin" this week is the Buffalo Bleu Cheese dip. We're not sure if it's the fall weather making people wanting something with a kick or the fact that you can make a great tailgating salad with it. Either way, this has been our top Pin and we couldn't agree more. Having a party and want to make the salad? Here's how and it's so simple and so good!
  • 1/2 lb. Spiral pasta, prepared as directed
  • 2 cups Chicken, cooked and chopped (December uses canned chicken)
  • 2-3 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Red petters, chopped
  • 1 Jar Rothschild buffalo bleu cheese
Prepare the pasta as directed and rinse with cold water and until pasta is completely cooled. Crain very well and place into a large bowl. Add chicken and vegetables to pasta, tossing gently. Carefully dress the salad with the Buffalo Bleu Cheese Dip, tossing lightly to combine. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. For added spice you can add a dash of hot sauce.
